Everybody is IRISH on St. Paddy's day.
If the saying is true then I have plenty of comrades today. I'd like to say I get the day off to celebrate or something like that, but, nope, not the case. If I wasn't training today, I was in front of the computer. And I'm just about to head out for a run.
Anyway, here are some pics to celebrate the day.

The above pics are from the memorial in Cork to the Massacre at Clonmult during the War of Independence. The second pic shows the names of those killed at Clonmult. Maurice Moore is my Great Uncle
This is the memorial actually at Clonmult itself, which is near Cobh.
These are the medals awarded to the veterans of the War of Independence. The top pic is Maurice's actual medal.
Now if we can just get the Brits out of the north. 26+6=1!!!
